How much do you think design styles have changed in recent years?
Design styles are constantly changing and that is very important. Classic designs are
predominantly chosen when a customer is buying an engagement ring - customers are
looking for quality and a design style that will look fantastic for many years to come.
But it is current trends that get customers the most excited - we all like to buy what is
new and different.
What's hot at the moment?
Skagen watches are very hot at the moment (everyone should check these out on our
website or in store). They are sleek and elegant and are an affordable accessory.
You must have a favourite gem stone?
Absolutely, there are too many to mention here though, and I would go on too long about
them,but I guess emerald, ruby and diamond top the list for me. I love a deep, lively
green emerald and a few fine inclusions make one all the more interesting. Then there is
the Burmese ruby which has everything a precious stone should have - magnificent colour,
excellent hardness and outstanding brilliance. Last but certainly not least, is diamond -
what can I say, except that they really are a girl’s best friend.
Can you recommend an appropriate gift for a Christening?
Christening gifts that can be personalised really add a special touch. My choice would be
a baby bracelet or bangle and to add that personal touch just ask us to engrave the baby's
name. We also offer free gift wrapping too.
It's not long to Mother's Day...what gift would you recommend?

What gives you most satisfaction in your job?
We are very privileged to have a great team who are passionate about the work that
they do and are committed to quality craftsmanship. When a client stops by to say that
they are really happy with their new piece of jewellery, repair or renovation we all get
a high. It's nice to feel appreciated by the ones we serve.
Tell us something about your other life?
My other life is just as busy as business life - just as you would expect with a young family!
As we are so busy we try and make sure our time together as a family is quality time.
We get out and about most weekends exploring the countryside and beaches and just
having fun. I also love food - eating it, cooking it for family and friends, reading about
it and going out to good restaurants to enjoy it. And if there's a good glass of red to go with it...
